"First Priority"

Gary's 1996 Chevy Monte Carlo, was purchased in the early monthes of 2000, strictly to be a liable source of transportation, but customizing became an obsession in no time, quickly becoming hs "first priority".

To start out, Gary armed the Monte with a Viper 550 alarm, featuring a remote start capability, proximity sensor, and starter kill options, followed by an Alpine cd head unit, alpine 6x9 rear speakers, and Alpine 5 1/4's in the doors, purchased, and installed at Circuit City in Clarksville IN.

Gary's next stop was over to Pro Tint where he purchased a set of 5, 18" all chrome Limited 820 wheels wrapped in 40 series Semperit rubber.

Next he needed sound. He made a stop at Mountain City Audio and purchased a set of 12" DEI Comp X subs, Directed 1100D, and 600D amplifiers, Directed 4-way crossover, along with a 1 farat digital Directed capacitor.

Next he hooked up with Steve Coogle, and the guys at AutoSound on Bardstown Rd, who installed all of these toys in an all fiberglass & plexiglass enclosure in the trunk, as well as behind the back seat, door panels, and even a Sega Dreamcast mounted in the roof of the ride. Also installed by Coogle was an Audiovox flip- down television monitor, vcr, Playstation 2, and 12 disc Alpine cd changer.

Other mods done to the Monte is Eibach lowering springs, custom spoiler, and blue neon tubes throughout the whole car.

Currently, "first priority" is under construction again, so look out for kandy paint,murals, and patterns in the '03 show season.
